BREWBOT- A hidden gem in the suburbs :D

Tucked in the small by lanes bang opposite Infiniti Andheri, lies a hidden gem. A gem yet undiscovered by many. Listed in the kickass burgers and mind-blowing cocktails, Brewbot is no less than a treasure chest *_* And a much bigger treasure chest for all the beer lovers out there! 😀 I was invited here for a preview lunch and beer tasting session 😀 IMG_0291_wm Brewbot, owned by Chef Anand and his partners has a it’s own in-house brewery and that’s like the USP of this place! 😀 Artistically and delicately made craft beers are a highlight of Brewbot altogether. And if I’m not wrong, it’s the only pub and brewery in the suburbs! 😀 You enter this place and you see huge cylinderical vessels and robot-ish machines and you go like *Whooooa* That’s when Anand enters and after a brief introduction about the history of Brewbot, he starts explaining what these machines actually do. They make BEEEEEER! *_* Right from the various types of craft beers to the basic ingredients, we were explained everything in detail. The hops, malt and the yeast which are used in the making of beer give a specific character to the end product ,which leave us with Brewbot’s signature craft beers, each of it’s own kind! 😀 Right from the saccharification to the fermentation, each and every process takes places in-house! Nothing can beat this! 😀 So coming down to the beer, I was served with their in house craft beers with funky and catchy names 😀 IMG_0252_wm 1. Skywalker- Anakin skywalker are you listening? 😛 This was a German Kolsch. Delicate and a lighter version, this beer would definitely suit everybody’s palate! 🙂 Perfectly balanced and well hopped 😀 2. Floating head- This was a Belgian Saison and had a distinctive peppery punch to it. Super zesty and fizzy, this beer had hints of candied ginger in it. Loved the flavors popping up in my mouth with every sip! 😀 This one was hands down my favorite 😀 3. Mojo Rising- A Mid-western Pale Ale, this one had a caramel based malt and a floral aroma. Slightly on the bitter side, this beer is a hit amongst all the men thanks to it’s distinctive thirst-quenching and masculine character. Just superb! 😀 4. Black Mamba: A Chocolate Oat Cream Stout, this beer was a type of dark beer. Stouts are basically dark beers made up of roasted malt or hops. Full-bodied, smooth and super creamy on the palate 😀 Plus the hints of Dark coffee and chocolate made this beer a stunner! 😀 All in all the beers were brewery-fresh and deeply flavored, these craft beers were flawless! *_* IMG_0292_wm After the beer tasting, we decided to order food, and like I said this was a preview lunch invite, I got to taste some dishes which weren’t even in the menu and are yet to be launched! 😀 You jelly bro? 😉 1. Caesar Salad- Shredded chicken, bacon bits, Spinach leaves, croutons and grated parmesan cheese were tossed in Worcestershire sauce and olive oil! This dish was soo refreshing! The very first bite into the spinach leaves and you get a punch of freshness! 😀 That’s because the spinach leaves or the veggies used here at Brewbot are farm-fresh and are cultivated at farm houses owned by Anand himself 🙂 Super cool isn’t it? Sans the lettuce, the salad tasted crisp and fresh, just the perfect start to your meal 🙂 IMG_0298_wm 2. Chipotle Chicken Sliders- These little burglerettes are the newest creation hot off Brewbot’s grill 😀 Charged up with a lot flavors, the chipotle peppers blended soo well with the chicken which was tender and cooked to perfection! 😀 It’s like your brain is expecting a burger… but you mouth tastes a smoky, slightly spicy chicken burger! 😀 No wonder Brewbot is listed in the “Kickass burger” section on Zomato! Super flavorful and one of my favorites! Highly recommended 😀 IMG_0301_wm 3. Char broiled Prawns- These were super succulent and perfectly char broiled. Just one look at the texture and you know it’s perfectly cooked 😀 The orange vinaigrette gave it a zesty, yet a lingering soft and pleasant feel to the palate. Another favourite taste-wise and presentation-wise, would definitely recommend this to the readers. 🙂 IMG_0305_wm 4. Cheese Toasted Garlic bread- These were your regular toasted garlic breads, but the bread was a stunner here! Made in-house, the toasted bread tasted superb! 😀 IMG_0309_wm 5. House special Calamari- A complete stunner, this dish was really unique and cooked perfectly! Served with Garlic Crostini and lemon wedges, this dish was deeply flavoured and the paprika like curry blended perfectly with the squid rings! Ohhh sooo yummaayy *_* Another recommendation for the seafood junkies out there! 😀 IMG_0318_wm 6. Chicken egg rolls- These had flavorful & moist chicken stuffed and rolled into a batter rich in egg. Hence the name 🙂 These rolls tastes superb with the beers! More like a perfect accompaniment 😀 IMG_0322_wm 7. Chicken Pudding- *writes about this dish* —-> *goes into a food coma thinking about this dish straight from heaven* —–>*_* Another new entrant, this dish had shredded chicken and loads of cheese over this humongous amount of French fries. Baked to perfection, this dish combined elements of a quiche and a cake. The puffy pudding-like topping and chicken gravy make for a satisfying comfort-food dish 😀 IMG_0326_wm Desserts- 1. Trio of Pannacotta- Three variants were served, viz. Chocolate, Blueberry and Caramel. Personally loved the Caramel 🙂 Creamy and super delicious, a little bit of improvement in the presentation would make it a hit 🙂 IMG_0345_wm 2. Chocolate & Peanut Butter Parfait- This dish was undoubtedly fit for gods *_* The dense chocolate and the peanut butter complemented each other perfectly! Plus the slight crunchiness of the peanut butter was a highlight of this dish 😀 Super delicious and devilishly gooooood *_* IMG_0341_wm Overall Verdict – Food: 4.5/5 – Chef Anand makes sure that you leave Brewbot with a dining experience which would entice your ppalate for days! 🙂 VFM-3.75/5 – A bit towards the higher side (Cost for two would.be around 1800INR+), but with that awesome food and craft-brewed beer, this place is totally worth your penny 😀 Service and Ambience- 5/5 – The staff is well trained with the right etiquettes. The Ambience is just bang on! 😀 Rustic and undone walls, Robot figurines and bobble heads plus the in-house brewery altogether adds to the charm of this place 😀 All in all a perfect go-to place for all the beer lovers out there and for the people who equally love to munch on some delicious food 😀 And not to forget their in-house brewery! You cannot give that a miss 😉 P.S: You get to play Jenga and UNO here! 😀 Thank you Anand and Team Brewbot for giving me this opportunity! It was a complete delight to review Brewbot 🙂
