5 South Bombay Restaurants that will make you drool!

South Bombay has a special place in our hearts and is home to some of the best restaurants not just
in the city but in the whole country. We have carefully curated a list of some of our favourite
restaurants located in this posh locale.

1. Wasabi by Morimoto

Wasabi by Morimoto is recognised as one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia by San Pelligrino and
serves authentic Japanese food. All their ingredients, including their seafood and wasabi, are flown
in from Japan. The White Fish Carpaccio, Black Cod Miso and the Wasabi Creme Brulee are some of
the popular dishes here. Although the food here is on the pricier side, the culinary experience and
service they offer here is out of this world!

Cost of Two: Rs. 5000/- approx.

2. Jia the Oriental Kitchen

JIA is a modern oriental kitchen by Neville Vazifdar serving delicious dimsums, Japanese, Thai and modern
Chinese dishes. Jia means family in Mandarin and is perfect for a fine dining experience with friends
and family in an elegant setting. We recommend trying their Lobster Soup, Crispy Duck Salad and
Beef with Red Wine!

3.The Table

The Table serves globally inspired cuisine in the iconic Colaba area of Mumbai. It encourages the

cocktails. “Across The World” is our personal favourite. We love their Pork Belly Buns, Fish and Chips
and Grilled Tenderloin!

food with contemporary twists. The menu is curated by Hong Kong based celebrity chef, Christian
Yang. We recommend trying Chengou Chicken, Lotus Root Casino Chips and Dan Dan Noodles!
